Waitin' Round to Die (Towns Van Zandt cover) by blue lang
Yes, there's nothing wrong with the voice except its place in the mix. But David Lowery coming in and belting a verse would sound the nuts. I like the steady, patient, march of this and the werbley organ.

Suiright by Eftos
I like the lines that come in and sound all sped up. Neat soundscape and less threatening than others of yours I've heard. Falls a little flat at the end though.

The Will by Astrolamb
Well, I'd rather hear someone trying to sing well instead of auto-tuning, so there you go. And yes, the voice strays a bit off key, but still comes off as sincere sounding. The violin is a nice accompaniment if a bit wandering at times. I keep waiting for the snappy drums to kick in, but I like this coffee house version well enough. Not blowing me away, as it could be fleshed out some more, but a good effort.

Winter Is Finally Here by The Von Bots
Starts off like a TV show theme, then turns into a Neil Young-ish (at times)song: pretty neat. I like the easy-going lope of the rhythm and hint of sadness in the music. Bit romantic w/o being gushy. Nicely done.

The City is Dead by Flvxxvm Florvm
It sounds like an early 90's 4-tracker. (can be a good thing, like here) I'm surprised that I like the step up/step down progression for all the way through, but I do. Good guitar tones and backwards lead, and a tighter song than some of your more recent, I dare say.

Not Dreaming by The Von Bots
Could be under a video of someone driving through the desert at night. Oh! I wrote that before the chorus came in-see? Quite effective then. All that's missing is the baritone guitar. Easy melodies and good instrumentation work well, I enjoyed the turn from moody to positive feel. Nice singing voice as well.

Verdura Head by Crackground
I like the surf music feels to this although not thrilled with the over-distorted instruments. I understand how they help make this different, but a little too harsh here. The weird little breakdowns offer a nice breather from the distortion assault though. No idea what you're singing about, I still enjoyed the polka bounce to the song.

I Can Not Function by Glenn Case
2 A.M. indeed, on early 80's MTV. I like the constant synth and that the beat doesn't change, like I was guessing it would. I'd have loved a very high vocal harmony on the chorus, maybe singing up while the rest kind of hangs around where it already is. If this were on early 80's MTV, it might not have made it to heavy rotation, but people would probably still have remembered it.

The uncrowded Nature by Eftos
I don't mind a little taste of a bad acid trip every now and then. Now: fine for once through. Then: Mmm...I doubt again.

Mistaken Identity by Neil Be
I like the rainy day piano but am not buying into the vocal. I mean, I like the voice enough but am thinking a different (maybe female) voice would sell this better. Feels a little incomplete at the end. Certainly a good foundation to re-work/develop further.
