My cover of Rabid Garfunkle's choice, for the Gift of Music coverfight 2004. Fun to take it out of one style and into another.

I dig it. I don't know the original, but it sounds primus-y to me anyway. Great Punjabi-style drums. There's a weird audio glitch when the vox come in at :34 and again at :36, though, on my mp3 at least.

Hahaha!!! I love the confusing indian thing you have going on...And...it's really funny...once you take the heavy bass and drums out of primus, it starts sounding like the residents again...ESPECIALLY the guitar solo thing...That part is amazing.

I know the original well and like it a lot. I dig the Indian instrumentation, I guess we were on the same wavelength. Did they really say "screw a chimpanzee"? I guess I don't know all the words :) "This roymond is my kind of scum, fearless and inventive!"

i'm with marcus -- i'm sure i heard this song before but i dont' remember it. but you've done an awesome job sounding like primus but NOT sounding like primus at the same time. the drums and sitar totally make my day. fabulous.

If this was just music and no vocals... and had better production quality, I'd probably swear it was the Dust Brothers.

I had no idea that Primus covers were even possible, because the original songs are just so weird. This is great.

I don't know the original, having lost interest in Primus a long long time ago. But this is an excellent arrangement and performance. (Actually, I think I own this album, but I'm not sure why anymore.) Anyway, what else is there to say? If you had written it, I'd give you an [okay]. But since you didn't, you get a [good].

Man, the indian stuff was great. Not so much the vocals. But I have to say I hate all things Claypool, so that's most probably not your fault.
OK
