if you exchanged bass freqs between the low guitar and the organ, that growly leslie would really come through.

one the chorus, i'd make every 4th note a solid bass hit on the organ as well.

great song, and best wishes for your marriage.

[op ed] i really hope this song stays highly rated. it's a nice simple arty little piece that SS (and the internet) could use a lot more of. as easy as it is to be a dude with a guitar playing songs, it seems almost impossible to get enough in them to make them shine. this one does.

This is pretty neat. Wish it didn't end quite as abruptly. I like the soup of sound in which I am swimming while listening.

Is it supposed to end at 1:35? It sounds like the end is clipped off. I was just sort of getting into it too. I like the off-time portion, and the keyboard bits in the backdrop.

i wish it ended somewhat differently, because that guitar was sounding pretty cool at the outro, could have used a bit more of a coda or something. "a hill after every hill" is one of those cool phrases that gets you thinking, but it could mean something different to everybody who hears it. i'd say more, but i couldn't possibly sum this up better than yook's "soup of sound".

The alternate lyrics are: wake up every night with the sheets soakin wet, gotta freight train runnin through the middle of my head. oooh oooh oooh, I'm on fire.

Hmmm, love the verses not so sure about the 'breakdown' parts (choruses?) Congrats on the marriage though, (even if using it as vote increaser is low :) )

Hm, you definitely got your own style, that's something.
I don't like your harmonies though, the two voices mainly in quint... I like the lyrics though.
