now tommy, im going for constr. criticism instead of short cuts to thinking like this sucks. lol. Very reminiscent of some oldies song like angel my angel from back to the future. The music, well the piano and guitar, meld well together. I like your singing, although i think it could have been even more melancholic, if thats the right word im looking for. Other than that very picky little bit of nonsense, i like this song. I love the oldies and it makes me feel like im back there. So you get a good, but just so you dont think im blowing smoke up your ass ill conclude with what the hell were you thinking man, you should never pick up another instrument as long as you live. lol.

the changes are not that good in this song. they are off to me. the real deep vocs i don't like. i can hear the oldies reference but the sound was not as good as that. the lyrics, c'mon man. just my opinion. i hate to give bads but this song was boring [bad]

This is a decent song. If this were slower and had better drums, it could be a Crooked Fingers song. The janky notes that the bass hits are distracting. The lyrics roll too fast. The lyrics are sweet enough, but there's a real chance to have a real bittersweet break-up kind of love song that really gets in people's brains. I mean, the first line alone: "Our times together couldn't be any better", that's a great double entendre right there. I wanted the song to go on longer than it did, like another verse, a bridge, final verse. It feels like you could really flesh this out into a much longer song and not have it outstay its welcome.

"holy shit you sound like ajryan!" i was going to say. then i noticed the URL.

the drums seem really hesitant, rhythmically, and fail to hold the song together. that's really only the bad thing about it. it seems a little short, but i like the ending, and it seems to wrap up pretty well.

The slightsy Waits feel to this appeals as does the deep bass ... but it breezes past without bothering my attention so much so only an [okay]

awkward arrangement of a potentially very good song.

I am going to agree with Frank on this one. Has the potential to be better than it actually sounds right now. (I LOVE the sound of the snare, however.) It seems to be right between [okay] and [good] to me. After a couple of listens, I have rounded it up to [good]. EDIT: This is the 200th song I have given a [good] rating to.

This sounds really, really nice. Your voice has a great tone to it. Also, I like the bells and the piano. Aw, hell, I like pretty much all of it. The lyrics are pretty simple, but then again, so are mine. I would second Erik's suggestion that it be longer. I wanna slow dance now.

Does ajryan sing harmony here? Nice song, don't like it that much, but still ok.
