My longest song ever, written for my album a day After the flood.

Lyrics in the notes.

I really like your songwriting tuuur... I like the weirdness of this all and how it fits so nicely... the drums at the top made me think 'uh-oh', then they worked their way in so nicely. The electric was a touch loud, scared me when it came back in. [sweet]

Lyrics never really get past their triteness, even with the interesting arrangement. Could stand to pull the vocal back a little when it's alone with the acous and bass.

i am in love with this song.
i downloaded a whole bunch of these recently and stuck them on a cd, and this one in particular i listened to probably about 30 times this week.
coming back here now, i am completely amazed at the fact that this was part of an add. anyway:
while at times (especially the first line of vocal) this has a little bit of a "tuesdays gone" feeling, mostly i am reminded of neil young -- the vocal melody and (acoustic) guitar part make me think of mainly his "oh lonesome me". the lead guitar, just beautiful. overall the vibe i get is one of those early 90s not-exactly-grunge bands that were heavilly influenced by neil young and similar people. the world could use more music like that.
again, seriously, it's like i can't listen to this song enough.

I read tvith's comment before listening and I think I tainted my impression. I was expecting something great, but that just shows how music can be perceived so differently by each of us. I feel like this track lacks energy and I want more from the arrangement.
