So, I opened my Yahoo e-mail recently and found somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 messages in my inbox. That is an abnormal amount of messages for me. As it turns out, most of them were messages from somesongs letting me know that I had a lot of dead links. SO, I would like to thank my mystery listener for the heads up. Here's a newer song for you to check out, and I am fixing the old links as well.

Not my favorite Glenn Case. The lyrics make me wince, and I think the verses and bridges would benefit from losing the lower vocal track. On a positive note, I like the synth bass tone a lot, especially when it occasionally gets a more rapid sequence. I also, above complaints noted, like the harmonizing on the chorus.

2 A.M. indeed, on early 80's MTV. I like the constant synth and that the beat doesn't change, like I was guessing it would. I'd have loved a very high vocal harmony on the chorus, maybe singing up while the rest kind of hangs around where it already is. If this were on early 80's MTV, it might not have made it to heavy rotation, but people would probably still have remembered it.

I like the tune - but a few small things stop me loving it - a) it's all a bit clean. you should (izotope) trash up some of the synths or make the patches a little more grime-y. b) turn them drums up - if you want to do a Timberlake style thing (which i assume is what you were going for) the drums should be massive. It would make the song more instinctivelydancey. c) you bring in the two voices from the beginning, when holding back to the second verse would improve the dynamic.

good pop song but surprisingly (from your good self) the production lets it down a little.

(I would be happy to do a 'remix' to show you what I mean, if that would be of any interest/help to you - not that I can neccessarily do any better, but it might be fun, at least for me :)

Okay... but not too interesting.
Love the acapella harmonies though.

I like this because it's the sort of song you can almost always count on in an AAD. But this is the best "it's late and I'm still recording" song of the bunch. :)
