This is a [edit: blues rock] song, so if [edit: blues rock] is your bag, play it loud. I got my friend Tyler to do the vocals on this one. I think the bit of lead right before the bridge is the best thing I've ever played on the guitar, for whatever that's worth. The lyrics are a little weak, but it's a [edit: blues rock] song so the point is more the music. Enjoy. Or not. Whatever.

I like this song, but I'd prefer an arrangement with less continuous sound -- you have a wash of either guitar or organ almost all the time, and I'd like more breathing space. Then you could throw in some short, sharp hits with keyboard or horn or summat, and increase the rhythmic tension. As it is it sounds more like blues rock to me than funk.

Having a breakdown at 2:05 is a good idea, but the breakdown you have is boring; the lead vocal loses energy, and the backing falsetti seem tongue-in-cheek in a way the rest of the song doesn't.

It's really true that this song needs a lot more space (and bass in my opinion) top get that funk sound you seem to be reaching for. The riff is nice, but everything should be looser. Play around with the instruments more. It's pretty blues-rocky as it stands right now. I know it's cool sounding, but you may want to lay off the climbing guitar during the chorus. I still rated it a good, because it is, but it could stand to be a lot funkier.

Sorry - this just does not communicate to me, it's going backwards and not even ironic like Beck. 4 bar rock, left right. left right. 4 bar rock. ouch! I'm sure it will be popular here, those old rockers will love this...this is an ok for me cuz there is not any exploration - technique is good, imagination gone on holiday...

excellent production. excellent singing too. go tyler, go. i was hoping that ending line would go back to some massive breakdown + solo action. i'm giving this a good against my genre bias.

Really, really well done! Great, if unsurprising, funk track.

Bass isn't coming through my sub very much; as a result mix is very trebly. On the whole it's well executed -- vocalist is good, though doesn't seem to push very hard. Don't mind the backing vocals at all, though their EQ sounds a little out of place.

Sorta ploddish, but definitely quality for SongFight fare. [Okay] until it grows on me.

great playing, you guys all have talent...unfortunately, many people in your same genre have lots of talent too...it seems like you need something to set yourself apart from other funk bands (assuming you wanted to "hit it big") if not, you guys can sure rock some clubs from now til eternity. good stuff.

Well done as this is, it is a little bit too much default [edit: blues rock] for me.
Gets a good, but I don't like this as much as your other songs... sorry dude!
