inspired by joseph campbell's writings on comparative religion. i think the chorus needs to be beefed up but i'm not sure how. the bass tries to do too much too...

Very nice. The production is tight. The bass guitar is only doing too much in the pre-chorus. The chorus needs a hook, it doesn't go anywhere. Your voice is nice and unique. The drum fill heading into the prechorus it's very strong. And the distant sound of the drums clashes with the dry conga sound. Other than these nitpicky things, great song!

quality. The bass is WICKED in the pre-chorus (the part where you say "knot tyer"), Josh is crazy. It's a little hyper in the chorus though yeah ("little things are hard to find" that section)

Please don't give both your file and your id3 tag a name that has nothing to do with your somesongs band or song name.

yeah, the chorus is the part i like the least. the verses are really cool--you have an amazing voice. i like the percussion a lot too. song is only okay, though and that's how i gotta rate you. EDIT: got to the end and changed my mind--[good]

the bass is indeed good in what we apparently have decided is the 'prechorus'. i don't dislike the chorus, but i wish it was a little bit bolder and more exciting, such that it would increase the varying levels of dynamics throughout the song. it's a little staticker than i'd like, as it is now.

Well played, but a bit unimaginative melody and chord progression. ok.
