It is frustrating to have people living underneath you that bang on your floors when you try to record music. That ends soon. In the meantime, here's an old track from my Greenwood Cemetery album that I'd like feedback on. I am not sure what people think of this one.

I can't believe you're going too kill your downstairs neighbors. This song is terribly good. Theres kind of an.. unclean background noise that sounds kind of weird. but cool beat, changeups and melody

I love the hook at the end of each verse ("this place is small..."). It's cool how you interrupt the laid-back feel with a brust of freneticism. I'm not hot on the lyrics and I'm not sure if it's because I don't think they're good or I don't like the concept. I love New York so it's hard for me to dig a song that paints it in such a negative light (sort of).

Anyway, I think it's awesome that you and SoS made these albums. Someday we'll have to release a deluxe box set of all five discs.

It's even more frustrating to have people upstairs stomping around in hard soled shoes on ancient, splintered hardwood floors, and blasting many-a-db of 20-100Hz massive subwoofer, on a constant basis...but likewise, soon to end...

of course it's good! no question.

I'm REALLY digging this song. The first time you double up on the vocal tracks could use some cleaning up, but the rest is phenomenal.

i love new york and i have would have to agree with about the negativity, but it's overshadowed by the goodness of this. although it could use some reworking production wise. i don't know why, really, it just doesnt sound as solid as the rest.

the vocals during the first verse seem over-compressed. not like with a compressor, but just... squashed-sounding. sometimes the guitars seem to get out of sync with each other. the chorus sounds fantastic.
