The first song from "Waterfall of Consciousness", which is currently my newest Album-a-Day. I did get the idea of the title from Aqua Teen Hunger Force, but the song has nothing to do with the show. Lyrics under [more notes].

the production was sweet. i like how it opened and i like that main guitar part in general-though i kind of wanted it to build or lead somewhere. the lead guitar didn't do it for me, it wasn't melodic and it wasn't impressive as a solo either. [good]

I simply loved this part:
"They say the truth will set you free
But, that itself might be a lie"
And that's coming from a guy that most of the time doesn't listen to lyrics.

Nice idea for the main riff, good harmonies and grungy lead vox.

Good song. I liked the lyrics and the vocals, though I felt like the contrast between the distorted and clean vocals was a bit stark. I'm really not into your distorted guitar sound. But those are minor quibbles. [good]

I really like the distorted/clean vocal contrast. And the chorus part is hooky. Wanted to hear more "rise, rise" with delay or something culminating into madness. The ping pong fuzz guitar blankets the mix too heavily for me. Wanted to hear it switch to a nasly, gritty guitar during the verses. I still give it a "good". Love the line that ends the final chorus. Wanted to hear one more chorus with more layered vocals. And big reverb on the drums.

sweet rock and roll, that. the bouncing, fuzzy guitar part throughout is a bit tiring. apart from that, this is very good indeed.
