As promised, here is the SF review I gave this song:
"Seriously not only is this the loveliest FBF song I have heard for ages (and he only writes lovely songs) it is also one of the most beautiful songs I have heard for a good while. Anyone who says it is cheesy has no soul and should go to soul-growing-school."

On top of which, I must have listened to this song a dozen times now, and each time it makes me feel really happy, and now i have a crazy idea of doing a cover, so if you wanna mail me the chords,Frankie, you can hear me slaughter it in my own 'inimitable' style as your reward for creating a great music moment :)

Very good stuff.

I love the rhymes in the chorus, especially. Also, this is lovely: "But oh, there are a million ways to get back But it's a maze, not a track ".
Music and vox are good also, but this song really showcases the lyrics, which are great. I do like that wah guitar.

this is a truly great tune and I'm really enjoying the doubled acoustic guitars. and is that a 12-string coming in on the chorus? nice. but I've gotta be honest about the wah: I really think it's too 'cutesy' and takes away from what is otherwise a really nice tune. at least you panned it pretty hard right so i can just listen to the left channel!

An immediate [good], but I agree, what's with the wah? It's making me cry a bit in the not-as-desirable way. I feel the song needed some other kind of accent. It's really less bothersome on the chorus than it is when it peeps in to say hi during the verses.

Well produced, well sung, well written. You sound like a pro.

I'm going to be lame and hold my 'good' rating for ransom until you replace the wah guitar part. :P

nothing wrong with the wah, just plain beautiful.

Adequately reviewed by it's own title. [okay]

Nice, but didn't you already use the "from ripe to rotten" line somewhere? Tracks for Future Practice, I think. Or is The Thing Most Easily Forgotten perhaps the Track for Future Practice?
